Mailing Press Kits

Today we FedExed some press kits to the labels that requested one.
The FedEx guy hooked up one particular shipment and upgraded it 
to over night for super cheap. We ended up spending $7! Sweet deal!

Although we love being a D.I.Y. band, we would also love to work with
a solid label on the release of our new album. We can't say what
labels we've been talking to slash hoping for, but we can say that
we're really excited about the opportunities in front of us.  By our release, we may be with a label or we may opt to stay D.I.Y. and do a self-release. We shall see.

Speaking of the new album, we're taking suggestions for the title.
Send your ideas to thematerialmusic@gmail.com. If your title is
chosen, you'll get a free copy of the album and you'll be thanked in
the CD liner. Send as many suggestions as you'd like. We're open to
anything, but to give you an idea of what the new record sound like,
listen to "No One Has To Know" or "Moving to Seattle" on repeat.
That's right, the new album will be darker, moodier, edgier, and more
rockinger. Yes, more rockinger. Ha. Anyway, now that I've made myself
laugh...  The last thing is that we're leaning towards a nautical theme for
the album. So set your creative sails and give us ideas!
